About me huh? Well, I am a midwest girl (lifetime socialite diva 
) who has been living on the east coast for over 20 something years now. I really am a beach bum at heart and that is where I can be found on off times or should I pull a run away act =). I am a semi-retired fashion & print 
model and was also a modeling instructor/coach (and spokes model, stylist, make up artist, and show coordinator–ALL that industry stuff–I did it all –LOL) for many years. Don’t fall out of your seats now, (I will get the smelling salts…) but I am also prior military–that’s right–a first gulf war vet as a matter of fact (1990-1991–USN–USNS Comfort). Now, I work for the Federal government (don’t shoot the messenger!!) as a program analyst and am an ‘old school’ computer geek (I go way back to COBOLT and BBS days –anyone remember visual basic these days??? True Geek-status! LOL *and I’m always on it . I was married for a little under 19 years and am divorced. My life’s greatest work and #1 Priority in this life are my children, ages: 23 (girl-SD), 12 & 12 — (boy/girl twins). It is obvious that I have my hands in MANY cookie jars at once most of my life so I really don’t have very much “free” time (what’s that?), however I do manage to update my social sites frequently (most often from Twitter ) and send frequent geekish/techie tweets amidst a few worthless rantish ones when I feel the need to vent and share and then there are those addicting twitter trending topics =). I have always been a writer–since even way before journalism class in high school =) and am definitely a writer at heart (journalistic, poetry–and songs)… I guess that’s because I always have something off the cuff and poetic to say . This dear blog is actually m
y forth attempt at keeping a blog alive–LOL, I have had several blogs out here before, but I always seem to end up neglecting them. I vow to try to do better this time =) (I am NOT trustworthy in that respect — just so you know ). I have so many different ideas about what I wanted this blog to be–I probably should have several–but that would require way too much time from me … so I will continue to work with this ONE and blog on everything from current news, tech-geek updates, fashion and modeling, living in the DMV and entertainment… and of course there will be a happy mixture of my own personal over-dramtized rantings as well.
.. I coin certain blog entries “The Hormone Chronicles” (in ‘Parts’ i.e., 1, 2, & 3…)… and we may just see more of those for in the future as well… (I will explain it later…but basically--I think you can figure it out =)) (one day/night a month–I lose all control of emotional stability and insanity prevails for a 24 hour period during which time I do/say or conjure up a wild adventure of colossal chaos of a hormonal proportion–LOL .
Anyway, all that said, I hope that you enjoy my web presence… (and if you don’t… so what…go away… LOL). Oh, and please leave comments–I love reading them, and leave your blog URL for me ;))
