I have to say thank you all for the positive comments, as I was pretty distraught at the news I received on Monday… Thank all of you, truly. =)

To Justin and Sean, although I am relieved and feeling a little better about Sprint today, I do feel that the information that I was given, false as it were, should never have been given in the first place. Those reps caused me MUCH frustration that day. My next question is why is it that they did not have the correct information to give out to customers?

I have been researching the Pre and putting out information on this technology since January (on this blog, twitter, email and other social network sites). The mis-information provided to me by these Sprint representatives is direct cause of this blog, numerous tweets, social network blogs, email and conversation… and for that I am upset–personally, because their misinformation caused me to to put out misinformation as well.

I, personally–or professionally, am not known to give out incorrect information on my sites, and I pride myself on sharing and passing on legitimate info–and although I understand the complexities behind your marketing strategies–whatever they are, I am sure that you understand the importance of representatives giving out correct information to the consumer and the public. I am giving you the store information because I DO feel strongly that this incident does need to be addressed.

The store I visited, was the Quince Orchard Store in Gaithersburg, MD–where TWO representatives told me the same thing (one backed up the other).

Best wishes, thank you again for reaching out, and I DO look forward to the Pre and continuing my many years service with Sprint.
